A really great twist on the buddy-road-trip genre, this one is FA-LAAAAAMING! But Brokeback jokes aside, this is awesome work from the three leads (a.k.a. General Zod, the dude from Memento, and the Elf King from LOTR/ Mr. Smith from Matrix), who camp it up big time. Clever dialogue, lots of disco music, the infamous Abba turd, and the even more infamous ping-pong-balls-shooting-out-of-her-private-orifices scene. A surprising treat of a film.
And of course, the costumes are FAAAABulous!

Did a rewatch over the holidays. Great movie. I didn\\\'t enjoy it as much as the first time I saw it, but it is still good for a hoot.
