Synopsis

What a fickle fickle fairweather man...

The Canadiens are not a love-me, love-me-not type of team. It's a love for life. (or a dislike) You can't be a fan of the "old" Canadiens and not be a fan of the current incarnation, because it's the same damned team! The Canadiens are timeless. They are not some new found gayromping team of Senators (boy oh boy I can't wait to see the city have its collective cry when they lose yet again in the second round this year!), they are legends, no matter who is playing for them. They're like the Cubs, or the Red Sox, or the Yankees for that matter of baseball. You either love them or you don't.

By what you are saying, you are forfeiting all your former alligience to les habitants. And you know what that makes you, back in the 70s and 80s? A Leafs fan!

I never thought I'd say this, but from this day forward I officially hate the Sens more than the Leafs...it was pretty close to begin with. The reason is that Sens fans suck. Leafs fans AT LEAST do stick by their team even when they lose & stick it up. If Sens lose in round 1 (which COULD happen if they play Pittsburgh, The whole city will be screaming for changes and say that Alffie is the problem.
