Unfortunately when I saw this, I was too tired to fully enjoy it. It is hard to believe this is a movie, it is more like a documentary, where the camera has simply dropped into the lives of people living in ways you have never seen before. It is the most natural movie I have seen in years. It is alien, barren, and real. I wish more movies were like this. This is one of those films that teaches you about the world... ![]()

BTW, it helps to know that Tulpan means tulip. I only found this out afterwards.

Jeff, with your recent spate of film-viewing over the holidays, and the representation of the POT faction in not only seeing critically-acclaimed films, but giving them all very high ratings, one wonders if you just have a knack for finding the true cinematic gems, or if you're in dire need of a keg of Manos.

ZOMFG! You can get bottled MANOS?!?!! I'll buy a litre of that! Nay, I'll buy a stère! A sydharb EVEN!! GLORIOUSNESS! ![]()

Hey, I save my viewings for stuff I know I am gonna like. But a keg or two of Manos is needed always. As is some V9 and V12! Ohh baby! And remember, my review for Avatar, I called it great and crap at the same time. If you subtract out the great SFX, it is utter shite.
