This was one of a couple movies I watched today that I really don't quite know how to rate. Not good, but not bad, good enough to watch the whole thing, yet BORING as all hell in MANY parts. Nothing was really wrong per say. The acting by Foxx & R.D.Jr were solid, the story (based on true events) is quite original and interesting. You do actually care about the characters etc etc etc. Something was lost though, because although I really wanted to care, I just didn't really. Again, this isn't to say it was bad, it just didn't really go anywhere in the end. I feel like it could have been a 30 minute TV documetary and done the same job (or better).
Anyways, this is not for everyone. There are Looong scenes of just nothing (music yadda yadda). I don't mind a long drawn out story if it goes somewhere, but this just comes up short.

What's your rating of this movie?
