Caught this on the dish last night whilst folding the week's laundry...

Fairly decent "Heebie-Jeebies" film (along the lines of The Ruins) - where things craw under your skin and you don't know who's infected or how (or why?)...

It's a Canadian made-for-TV movie that actually doesn't LOOK Canadian (you know what I mean) and, hey! Val Kilmer (Val Kilmer IS....The THAAAAW)! AND that dude from X-Men...

Has all the now typical gross-out scenes (again, like the ruins) including the now typical live amputation...LOL! Isn't it nice when gore becomes standard fare?

Even parcels up a "surprise" ending setting up 'THE THAW 2 - The Bugs are Back!"

Not bad for a free dish-movie and given the fact that the blurb made it SOUND like a re-imaging of that TERRRRRRIBLE Made-for-TV mammoth movie...

Don't touch the Mammoth - it's got THE THAAAW...

Just watched the trailer and I feel like I've seen the whole film!
