oh, where to begin...when this first came out I LOVED it. Saw it 3 times in theatres (including once on my own - Mitch went to see Cape Fear, which I hadn't seen, and I was like...nah, I'll go see this AGAIN). I thought it was so cool. Casting was awesome, and Alan Rickman always plays the good villain. When I re-watch it now, I can see tons of flaws (besides the fact that Costner isn't the best actor). Don't know if anyone else caught this, but in the first 20 minutes he has a brittish accent. after that it "magically" dissapears and then comes back again here & there. Talk about lack of consistency. How did editing / directing not pick up on that?? Anyways, tons of good action. I still think Rocket Robin Hood is better though (they are replaying those old toons on Teletoon in the evenings now).

Oh, you just noticed those flaws now? Yeeesh! This one stunk to high heaven. "Yo merry dudes! I'm Christian Slater! I won't even ATTEMPT a British accent!" Faygales?

You should've seen Cape Fear.

POL! Ok, just did a rewatch because Brooke bought it for a buck (I'd buy THAT for a dollar!) and had never seen it. Ye gods, it's so horrible. We enjoyed watching it for pure hokeyness , but man, it's just so bad on every level. Forget about accents, Costner (and most of the cast actually) recite lines of dialogue like they're in a high school play. I kept laughing at stuff that was spoofed in Mel Brooks' 'Robin Hood: Men In Tights', and lines that Deril repeats all the time ("You whine like a mule! You are still alive!", and "Why a spoon, cousin?"), not to mention the small Connery cameo at the end that I totally forgot about, and Costner's questionable mullet. Throw another BOMB on this one for me!
