I remembered liking this in theatres, and later bought it on VHS. Now I wonder why. This is a very bad movie. The acting stinks right throught, and it's just balls. Glenn Close (as the Vice President) gives one of her WORST performances ever...gary Oldman was kinda meh. What kills this movie for me is William H Macy at the end...aweful, aweful, aweful

Entirely forgettable. So forgettable, in fact, that I can't even remember if I liked it or not!

Very forgetable, but I don't think I hated it as much as you guys. I don't even remember William H. Macy in it....and no president would ever hava as much balls as Ford seemed to have.

Darrell, your continuous misspelling of 'aweful' is just awful. Actually, if the word 'aweful' did exist, it would suggest something being full of awe, or 'awewsome', which is probably NOT want you're trying to convey.
