Amusing on a camp level, but definitely the worst of the Harryhausen flicks. There's some cool stop-motion animation with a Troglodyte and a Saber-toothed tiger, and other stuff, but most of the FX is wasted on a stop-motion baboon. A baboon! C'mon! Apes are easy to get in movies! Cyclops' aren't!
Anyways, the casting is kinda shady too....Patrick Wayne is John Wayne's son, Taryn Power is Tyrone Power's daughter, and the evil witch (burn her!) was played by the daughter of some music director. Nepotism killed this flick!
Jane Seymour was (still is) hot though. There were also many scenes where characters stood around instead of killing the bad guys, which was frustrating. She's standing right there! Kill her! Her back is turned! You could avoid a lot of future trouble if you kill her now! She's trapped in a bottle fer chrissakes! Kill her!
Anyways....
