As far as Alien Visitor Mini-Series go, this was the best one...ever!
I'm rating this as one with V-The Final Battle, and the TV series that followed, though after a while, the show kinda ran its course and had too many secondary characters and sub-plots to stay interesting for too long.
Still, Michael Ironside as Ham Tyler ruled!

Oh my fucking GOD!

The V-Baby! THE V-BABY!!!!!

I couldn't sleep for 3 weeks!! It scared (and scarred) the living muther fucking SHIT out of me. Just one of those things that seemed to push PRECISELY the right "scare" button in me at the time. I freaked...

Hmmm, much like I'm sorta RETRO-freaking now.

And when Diana's mouth stretched to swallow the guinea pig........egads.

Remember Robert "Freddy" Englund as the "docile alien" (i.e. the good guy?)...Willie?

Well, two clicks of research shows me their planning a SEQUEL to V, called "V: The Second Generation" (I shit thee not). See:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0366112/

So, now MY son can freak as much as I did...but this time to CGI Diana...

Not to be confused with "V for Vendetta" which is the latest "obscure" comic to movie release...

Starring a bald Nathalie Portman!
